Now that you have learned the letters of the alphabet, make sure when you put them together that all the [long] ascenders are of equal height: b d h k l, with the very top leaning to the right, rounded and bold, just as the beginning of the c or l. Likewise the descenders should be the same length: f g p q [long] s x y [long] double-s, and the bodies of all the letters should be even, both at baseline and midline, as shown here: A a b c d e m f m g m h i k l m n o p q r s t u [long] s t y m v x y z.
