Here are three exercise sheets for you to download. One turns zigzags into the letters of the a- and b-families. Another sheet is a start on the o- and x-families. The third turns zigzags into text.

Your starting point is a movement. Add recognition points, and you've got handwriting.

Use the sheets in any order you like. Print out a few copies. Trace each line several times before you write it out. Relax. Give yourself plenty of time. Bear in mind that at this stage you're not practising handwriting. You're teaching your hand how to move. Let it find its own rythm, and most of your lettershapes will take care of themselves.

Kindly let me know how far this takes you. Would you be more comfortable if the letters were in a different size?
